Looking more closely at the whole genome of a False Toad (Telmatobufo venustus) / Observando mas de cerca el genoma completo de un Sapo Falso (Telmatobufo venustus)

Our research team landed funding to take a much more detailed look at the entire genome of the False Toads (Telmatobufo venustus). We landed funding for a grant titled, “Genome Sequencing of a Gondwana Relic in Patagonia.” Funding was provided by Revive & Restore and the Moris Animal Foundation. Much more to come from this exciting new grant.

Nuestro equipo de investigación consiguió financiación para observar mucho más detalladamente el genoma completo de los sapos falsos (Telmatobufo venustus). Conseguimos financiación para una subvención titulada "Secuenciación del genoma de una reliquia de Gondwana en la Patagonia." La financiación fue proporcionada por Revive & Restore y Moris Animal Foundation. Mucho más vendrá de esta nueva e interesante subvención.

      Hi Tania, We see these toads at night along mountain streams and rivers. We think that they primarily eat insects and opilionids that live at the edges of these waterways. Cheers!
